FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

As of 1 July 2016, the so-called Ecotax came into force on the Balearic Islands.  
All tourist on Mallorca, including local tourists, are required to pay this ecotax. The amount varies depending on the accommodation category. For holiday homes on Mallorca it is €2 per person and night between 1 May and 31 October. From the ninth night onwards, the amount is €1 per person and night.
From 1 November to 30 April, it is €0.50 per person and night and €0.25 from the ninth night onwards (+10% VAT in each case) 
The tax only applies to guests aged 16 and over. 
Must be paid cash to the houseowner / house manager on arrival. 
This tax is invested in: 
- Improving the quality and competitiveness of the tourism sector, especially in terms of off-season promotion.
- Building new infrastructures for sustainable tourism.
- Protecting and preserving the environment.
- Preserving and restoring historical and cultural heritage.
- Research and technological innovation.
- Improving employment opportunities in the tourism sector. 

You will be charged 25% of the total amount to your credit card at the time of the booking. 
The remainder will be charged automatically, 60 days prior to check in. 
If check-in is in less than 60 days, you will be charged the total cost of your booking. 

Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is before 10am. If the calendar allows it, we will arrange a timetable that best suits your needs. You will have this information once the booking calendar is closed, prior to your trip. 

The cancellation policy is different for EACH ACCOMMODATION.
We recommend that you carefully read the cancellation policy of your chosen accommodation before completing your booking, as the policy may vary from property to property.

A security deposit is required in some accommodations to cover any damage that may occur during your stay. It must be paid in cash on arrival and will be returned on departure if no damage has occurred. This information is always described in the accommodation description.

Usually, the only extra cost is the Ecotax. In the case the property requires an extra charge for air conditioning, heating, electricity, or extra guests, it will be described in the accommodation description.

Some properties allow pets. You will find this information in the property description. 
In any case, you must always give advance notice and make sure that the accommodation you booked is pet friendly. 

Yes, in every property there is at least 1 cot and 1 highchair (two at most of them) at your disposal. Please inform us about the number of adults, children and babies at the time of booking. 

Yes, all properties provide bed linens and towels.
